About the Space

The Bungalow by Tribe is a gorgeous community space in the Marina that offers a plant-filled oasis for connection. Get ready to be transported to the beaches of Hawaii and the jungles of Bali in this boho-chic surf-themed haven right in the midst of SF's iconic Union Street.

 

This space serves primarily as the clubhouse for Tribe Social Club, as well as a living room for the neighborhood for different gatherings. We're making it available to you for rental for private occasions if the vibe fits your needs!

 

This space is perfect for:

  • Larger cocktail-format personal celebrations like bridal showers, baby showers, birthday parties, etc.

  • Professional celebrations, team offsites, workshops etc.

  • Intimate dinner parties, wine nights, game nights, etc.

  • Wellness events like yoga classes and sound baths

The space is designed to be flexible for a wide range of events. Located on the ground floor on Union Street, the space features:

  • Wooden floors

  • 14' high ceiling

  • 3 sitting spaces

  • A dining space

  • A bar area

  • Full bathroom

  • Kitchenette with water tap, ice-machine, hot water dispenser, microwave and fridge.

Booking Rules

General Rules:

  • Guests must take their shoes off. We have lots of white rugs!

  • No smoking, vaping or pets allowed.

  • No cooking allowed.

  • Outside alcoholic beverages and food (including catering) is allowed.

  • Renter needs to take their garbage and recycle with them and dispose of it on their own. We will provide garbage bins and bags for use during the event.

  • Party inquiries will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Flat rates may apply.

  • Please be respectful of our space, plants, artwork, and furnishings.

  • Nothing is to be taped/ tacked / puttied etc. to walls, furniture, or plants without prior approval! There is a $100 minimum fine for any repainting necessary due to your event.

  • Any lost or broken items will be charged a replacement cost.

  • Any items left in the venue after the reservation end-time are subject to an additional fee.

  • Beverages in our fridge are off limits for renters

  • Second floor space is off limits for renters

Renter Responsibilities:

  • Renter is responsible for returning the studio to how it was found - moving furniture, artwork, + plants is strictly prohibited unless explicitly discussed. There is a $100 charge for moved items in the space in addition to any damages.

  • All booking start and end times are inclusive of set-up and clean-up time.

  • Renter needs to take their garbage and recycle with them and dispose of it on their own. We will provide garbage bins and bags for use during the event.

  • Regarding rugs - A reminder that this is a shoes off space. Renter is responsible for notifying all their guests of this policy and enforcing it. We reserve the right to charge a $300 rug cleaning fee for any rugs with outdoor shoe marks (or spill marks) left behind. The space also has security cameras for disputes around failure to enforce this. - Overstaying rental reservation is prohibited. Overstaying the rental will result in a $300/hr fee.

  • Renter is responsible for a penalty fee if the venue has not been cleaned up according to this Rental Information Sheet.

  • A credit card authorization form for up to $500 in damages may be required prior to your event. This will be sent via email and must be filled out in full, signed and returned prior to your event start.

  • Accidents do happen! Please notify us if there is damage to the space or anything in it. We want to be sure we can address it before our next rental.

  • 4 hr - 10 hr
